About

My name is Cheryl (aka CheršŸ»). I’m orginally from a mid-sized city in Southern Ontario. I moved to Alberta in 2011, moved back to Ontario in 2017 after losing my job in the downturn and promptly moved back to Alberta because Toronto was way too expensive.

I’m very adventurous. I don’t take my feet or legs for granted because I lost the use of them due to Transverse Myelitis in 2008. When I hike/bike or do anything strenuous it puts me in a lot of pain in my feet.

I don’t try to keep up with people. I go at my own pace and eventually meet people at the finish line. I bail out of hikes when my pain is too much because I don’t want to put others in danger on trails and in back country. I’m 37 and doing all that I can to enjoy the legs and feet that were returned to me from the grips of paralysis.

There is so much more to know about me. So just ask and comment.

Safe and happy hiking/adventuring.
